Assessment of Medieval Goldwork Embroidery

You have a medieval goldwork embroidery in your possession and you want to know more about its date and place of origin? For the past 10 years, I have been studying medieval goldwork embroidery in museum collections. My library of specialised literature is ever-growing. This means that I am happy to provide the following services for you:

• dating of your piece
• assessing its place of origin
• identifying the iconography
• identifying the embroidery techniques
  
• estimate condition of the embroidery (I need really good pictures for this!)
  

To be able to do this I need high-resolution detailed pictures of your object.

What I can NOT do for you:

• a legal appraisal
  
• estimate a value
• identify the fabrics to which your embroidery is attached (i.e. vestment fabric)
